Bauer has said that it has completely redesigned the BG 15 H Value Line piling rig and says that the new rig is “ground breaking”.
The company has said that the innovation meets the needs for high functionality and cost efficiency in the small rig sector.
The rig is powered by a 186kW Caterpillar engine to ensure performance and low fuel consumption and also features an optimally adjusted hydraulic system that has been proven to reduce fuel costs on the BG26 rig.
The BG 15 H has a potential drill depth of 21m with a single layer winch operation to reduce wear. Bauer has said that even when using 4m long drill drilled during cased Kelly drilling, the rig is a leap forward in terms of efficiency.
The rig is available in two configurations – the standard model offers a 32m drill depth, while the upgrade version can reach depths of 44m and undertake CFA work.
Bauer has said that the base carrier for the rig has been completely redesigned to suit small sites and create easy transport with a width of just 2.5m. The redesign has ensured that ease of maintenance is not compromised by the compact dimensions.
