Bauer plans Paris display

Bauer has announced that it will be exhibiting a number of innovative developments of its ground engineering products at the Intermat construction equipment in Paris in April.

Centre stage on the stand will be the BG 30 Value Line rotary drilling rig, which has been updated with new features that Bauer has said make maintenance work, rig assembly and disassembly easier. The rig is optimised for kelly drilling and can reach a drilling depth of 68m with a four-part kelly bar or up to 87m with a five-part kelly bar.

Bauer will share the exhibition space with sister company Klemm Bohrtechnik which will demonstrate its small diameter drilling rig capabilities with display of the KR 702-2 rig. The rig is designed to fit through doorways that are 2m high and 0.75m in width.
