A new network-capable application from Leica Geosystems, called Geomos Now, has been launched to enable mobile visualisation and analysis of structural and ground movement monitoring data.
The app is part of the Leica Geosystems monitoring solution and uses automatic configuration and distribution tools to make large amounts of geodetic and geotechnical data easier to handle and available in real-time to anyone with permission and a web browser.
It can be installed on any smart device, such as a tablet, laptop or mobile phone, and its web-based user interface contains graphic visualisations that can easily edited by users with any level of technical knowledge.
Administrators can control the distribution of data to end users and customers, who can receive automatic reports with data analysis and customised formatting, which help to reduce workloads and enable fast and informed response time.
The software can be fully integrated on an Intranet server and data can be accessed from different locations within the company using only a web browser, meaning no extra installation or licence costs.
The data view can be customised to fit a company and easily integrated into a web page, and the software also supports georeferenced data formats, such as GIS shape files and raster data so users can overlay a variety of datasets.
