Seismic software upgrade

Fugro has announced that it has released an upgrade to its EZ-Frisk seismic hazard analysis software to include Next Generation West 2 ground motion prediction models and improved user interface along with software fixes.

According to Fugro, the single site probabilistic and deterministic tool enables engineers and geoscientists to study seismic hazards easily.

The company has said that the program can quickly create design ground motions for engineering purposes that use earthquake modelling and statistical analysis to accurately reflect the desired level of safety, provide realistic time-dependent behaviour, and consider site-specific soil and rock layering.
