2015 GE Awards entry deadline looms

With just a week until the entry deadline for the 2015 GE Awards there is still plenty of time to make your achievements from 2014 award-winning ones.

To be in with a chance to make the shortlist and have the opportunity to showcase your business in the face-to-face judging session, you must complete your entry form by Friday 9 January.

Taking time out from everyday business to complete an entry is well-worth the effort, according to previous award winners who have said that the accolade has helped them to win additional work.

There are 12 categories that you can choose from, including the new Ground Investigation Project of the Year category.

There will also be two other awards presented at the event, on 10 June at the Park Lane Hilton, which cannot be entered directly. The shortlist for the first – the Rising Star Award – has already been selected through the GE Next Generation Awards, held in November 2014 and this will celebrate the best of the best in new talent in the ground engineering market.

The other non-enterable award is the Editor’s Award, which is selected by Claire Smith from all the entries received for the 2015 event. In previous years, Smith has not always selected a category winner, or even a shortlisted entry, as the winner of the Editor’s Award and used the accolade to celebrate a specific achievement within a project.

Full details of the categories, entry criteria and details of the expanded judging panel are available at www.geawards.com

Registration and entry is free.
