Aarsleff Ground Engineering has invested in new equipment to support expansion of its solutions to include retaining wall construction using secant, contiguous and restricted space Vor Der Wand-Verfahren (VDW) techniques.
According to the company’s head of specialist retaining walls John Storry, the addition improves the portfolio of techniques offered by Aarsleff.
The company has said that it has invested in an ABI TM17 piling rig to support delivery of the new techniques. Aarsleff has said that it “will allow the company to take on more challenging work and enter into previously untapped markets”.
Aarsleff operations manager Steve Gilbank said: “We’re in a great position to deliver our new capabilities. Backed by the knowledge and expertise from our Danish parent company Aarsleff, we’re ready to kickstart the new year by offering contiguous walls, secant pile walls, sheet piled walls, king post walls and VDW Drilling to our valued clients across the UK.”
