Aces expands marine geophysical facilities

Aces Geophysical Studies Regional Center of Excellence (RCE) has expanded its geophysical services to incorporate marine geophysical surveys.

The RCE will also continue to offer specialised onshore geophysical services including surface geophysical tests as well as borehole geophysical survey and logging.

The business is strategically located in Dubai-UAE to serve Aces offices and Aces clients across the region.

Mahmoud Harb, Aces Geophysics RCE manager, said: “Our new expansion into marine geophysics demonstrates our strong commitment to our clients to provide them with complete range of geophysical studies services that are tailored to their specific needs and requirements.

“The new expansion will help us to grow and increase our size of business in geophysical studies in our targeted markets. It is already showing strong signs of success and delivering great results”.

The new services will utilise equipment including side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling, marine magnetometer and marine electrical resistivity tomography.

Some of the major projects carried out by the RCE to-date include the Kingdom Tower (Jeddah-KSA), Doha expressway (Doha-Qatar), Aqaba New Port (Aqaba-Jordan), Etihad Airway Project (Abu Dhabi-UAE) and Emirates Housing Project in Jabal Hafeet (Al Ain-UAE).
