Aces secures Dead Sea contract

Ground investigation specialist Aces has announced that its Amman division has been awarded a contract for work on rehabilitation and reinstatement of two dykes in the Dead Sea in Jordan.

The ground investigation data will be used to repair the dykes owned by the Arab Potash Company, which failed catastrophically in 2000.

Under the contract, Aces will undertake 30 boreholes to 50m depth and cone penetration testing, as well as laboratory testing.
