Arcadis and Geos secure Marseille geotechnical deals

The Grand Port Maritime de Marseille has announced the appointment of three contractors to deliver geotechnical work at the site under a new four-year deal.

Award of the contracts to Arcadis, Geos Ingénieurs Conseils and Geos Structures et Environnement was announced in the Official Journal of the European Union and follows on from launch of tender documents for the work last autumn.

The trio beat off eight other bidders to secure the work with each contract valued at €500,000 (£443,000).

Work to be delivered under the framework is expected to include preliminary geotechnical studies, geotechnical analysis of existing structures, design for feasibility and project planning and assistance with establish contracts of work for delivery of work.
