Bauer has been awarded the piling contract for a Dubai hotel.
Developer Nakheel has awarded Bauer a €5.6M piling contract for its 260m Palm 360 hotel.
The work, which will take four months to complete, includes driving almost 600 piles to 54m below ground in preparation for the construction of hotel which will be the tallest structure on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.
When completed the Palm 360 will include a hotel and apartments, as well as the world’s largest sky pool, connecting the two towers 170m above ground.
Located on Palm Jumeirah’s western crescent in 46,450m² of landscaped grounds, Palm360 will have 125 hotel rooms and 331 residences, including 16 penthouses spanning up to 1115m². Each penthouse has its own infinity pool, gym, home theatre and 360° views of Dubai.
The project is expected to be completed in 2021.
