Bluebeam acquires ground breaking Project Atlas software

Technology developer Bluebeam has announced that it has acquired Project Atlas’ software as a service (Saas) solution which is designed for the construction industry.

Bluebeam has said that Project Atlas is a digital mapping engine was innovative as it uses geo-location instead of traditional folder structures to organise and visualise 2D plans and construction data.

According to Bluebeam, this location-based orientation allows design and construction professionals to create and search a seamless digital map of their project that contains plans, people, material, site photos and drone imagery, all within highly detailed, zoomable layers.

“The combination of Bluebeam’s project efficiency and collaboration tools coupled with Project Atlas’ ability to organise project information by location delivers the best set of complimentary productivity tools the industry has ever seen,” said Project Atlas co-founder Joe Williams.
