Boring Company to sell tunnelling rock “lego-like” bricks

Elon Musk has tweeted that the Boring Company will be launching new merchandise – lego style bricks made from tunnelling rock.

In a tweet, Musk said that the new interlocking bricks would be “rated for California seismic loads, so super strong, but bored in the middle, like an aircraft wing spar, so not heavy.”

In a further tweet he explained that the bricks would be sold in sets – starting with pyramids.

Last year, Musk sold 20,000 Boring Company Flamethrowers and 50,000 baseball hats.

Earlier this month, it was announced that The Boring Company was one of two bidders left in the race to design, build, finance, operate and maintain Chicago’s proposed O’Hare transit express.

And just this week the company unveiled its plans for an East Coast Loop between Washington DC and Baltimore.
