The British Geotechnical Association (BGA) is inviting applications for the BGA Fund to support career advancement or further study
The BGA Fund Award allows the organisation to provide financial assistance to individual BGA members for further study or advancement of their career in technical subjects. Applications for the next allocation of grants is now open and the BGA is urging potential beneficiaries to submit bids to receive this financial support.
Eligible BGA members are invited to apply for up to £1,000 to support their return to full or part time education for a higher degree or higher level of study beyond a first degree. Awards will consist of a single payment to successful applicants.
“The BGA Fund Award is associated with excellence,” said BGA chairman Martin Preene. “We are looking for BGA members who are committed to geotechnical engineering and who have the potential to excel as geotechnical engineers. Applications are particularly encouraged from BGA members at an early stage of their career.”
Eligibility criteria for the BGA Fund Award can be found on the BGA website
