Contenders for the 2018 Ground Engineering Awards revealed

More than 120 companies, projects and initiatives have beaten off stiff competition to earn a place on the shortlist for the 2018 Ground Engineering Awards.

The shortlisted entrants, which can be viewed in full here, will now be invited to present their award-winning potential to an expert judging panel at GE’s office in London between 16 and 20 April.

“We’ve had record number of entries this year culminating in an impressive list of finalists,” said GE editor Claire Smith.

“This year’s shortlist is a true showcase of the range and breadth of the projects undertaken by our industry each year. The standard of the work demonstrated in this year’s entries is outstanding and getting onto the shortlist is an achievement in itself.”

The winners of the 17 enterable categories, along with Project of the Decade and the Editor’s Award, will be revealed at a gala evening ceremony at the Park Lane Hilton in London on 6 June.
