Eggs conference issues call for abstracts

The Engineering Group of the Geological Society (Eggs) is inviting applications for presentations at its annual conference.

The group’s 2019 conference will be held between the 11 and 13 April at Christ’s College Cambridge, with the theme Developing the Ground Model, bringing together practitioners and academics from the industry.

Applications for presentations should include a 200-word abstract, the title of the presentation and a list of authors and their affiliations, with the presenting or corresponding author highlighted.

The group is looking for exemplary case studies, or academic pieces of work, that advance understanding of developing ground models.

Submissions from early career researchers or practitioners are very welcome.

Abstracts should be emailed to eggs.annualconference@outlook.com by 10 February 2019

Current confirmed speakers at the conference include John Harrison of University of Toronto, Jenny Cooke of Network Rail and Jacqueline Skipper of Geotechnical Consulting Group.

Further details can be found in the conference website.
