With just one month to go until the deadline for most categories for the 2018 Ground Engineering Awards, the shortlist for the Project of the Decade category, which is sponsored by Keltbray Piling, has been revealed.
Major project category winners from the last 10 years have been taken forward onto the shortlist for this special category launched to mark the 10th anniversary of the GE Awards.
“The winner of this award will be decided by a public vote through the GE website which is open to everyone,” said GE editor Claire Smith.
“The project shortlisted show the range and breadth of challenges the ground engineering industry works on with projects ranging from the Queensferry Crossing and Hindhead Tunnel through to landslide remediation in Lyme Regis and stabilisation of Thrandeston Bog for Network Rail in Norfolk.
“I hope that people working in the ground engineering industry will use the shortlisted projects as inspiration to go out and talk to clients, colleague, family, friends, community groups and schools about the range of work this industry delivers – and ask them all to vote too.”
While a number of companies have been assured a place on the 2018 shortlist, there is still another month to ensure your company is also on that list. The deadline for entries to the awards is 12 January 2018.
Full details of all the categories and entry criteria can be found on the GE Awards website.
