Framework competition launched for Wylfa highway work

The Isle of Anglesey County Council Highways and Horizon Nuclear Power have opened the bidding for a framework contract for highway work relating to the new Wylfa Newydd nuclear power station development.

Documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union suggest that the work, which will be split into three lots, could be worth a total of £70M.

Successful framework bidders will be appointed to undertake the foundation construction and highway work over a four year period.
