French Ministry of Defence seeks GI partner for Toulon naval development

The French Ministry of Defence has published tender document for a preliminary geotechnical investigation to support plans to develop its biggest naval base in the Mediterranean.

Documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union, call for bids for on and offshore ground investigation and interpretative reporting at the Toulon naval base.

In addition to determining geotechnical parameters for the redevelopment, the successful bidder will also investigate potential for contamination at the site.

The project is expected to take four months to complete.

Bids for the work must be submitted by 18 September.
