Gallery: September completion for Grand Paris Express’ Gare Vitry Centre dwalls

Construction of the 45m deep diaphragm wall for the new station on Line 15 started in May this year and has been fast tracked by through extended working hours.

The station is part of a contract being delivered by a joint venture of Bouygues Travaux Publics, Soletanche Bachy France, Soletanche Bachy Tunnels, Bessac and Sade

Work on the site has been undertaken between 6.30am and 10pm in order to deliver the 82.4m long and 30.4m wide station box cut off wall by the autumn.

Excavation work on removing the 121,000m3 of earth is expected to start in October.

The station is planned to go into service in 2024.
