Ground Engineering has announced that just over 100 entries have been shortlisted for the 2016 GE Awards after a record number of companies made a bid to win one of the coveted awards.
Successful entrants will now be invited to present their work in front of industry leading judging panels in late May in order to secure a trophy at the lunchtime ceremony to be held at the London Hilton on 30 June.
“The range of projects, initiatives and innovations within this year’s entries clearly demonstrate that the UK geotechnics industry is very active and growing, which is great to see,” said GE editor Claire Smith. “The volume of entries this year means that making it onto the shortlist for the 2016 event was no mean feat and I think the live judging stage will create some interesting discussions.”
Full details of who has made it onto the 2016 shortlist and in which category can be found on the GE Awards website, along with details of how to attend the event, and profiles of each of the entries will be presented on the GE website soon.
