Geotechnical framework sought by Irish energy supplier

Ireland’s Electricity Supply Board (ESB) is seeking geotechnical companies to join its framework to support its offshore wind farm development plans.

ESB is looking to acquire or develop its offshore wind power network in the Irish Sea from 2018 and the three year framework will provide geotechnical input to this process.

Framework contractors and consultants will get involved in the associated geophysical surveys, ground investigation, ground model development and risk assessments.

The tender details were published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The deadline for applications is 29 September.
