Engine manufacturer Hatz has said that it has just completed the first phase of production on a new prototype mini piling rig with Neil Foundations.
The new B 15000 model has been designed and built by Neil Foundations workshop manager Barry Bond to meet demand on the company’s projects.
“We identified a requirement for a mini pilling rig to put piles into commercial warehouses and domestic dwellings, so I set about developing a bespoke product entirely for our own use,” said Bond. “The machine is currently undergoing extensive field testing prior to being made ready for production.”
According to Hatz, Neil Foundations selected the Hatz four-cylinder diesel 4H50TIC engine principally because it meets with all the latest emissions regulations and achieves this without the use of diesel particulate filters. The company already has a variety of Hatz engines it their fleet, which have all proven to be reliable which added weight to the decision.
