Keller UK has said that it has achieved a year without a serious accident on any of its sites.
The company has now clocked up more than 650,000 hours of work since the last Riddor (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) incident in January last year.
“I would like to thank all our staff for their efforts in keeping themselves and their workmates safe,” said Keller UK managing director Bob Thompson.
“That having been said, we must not be complacent. Every day is a new start when it comes to safety.”
Keller worked with Active Training Team, which helped deliver Tideway’s GE Award-winning Epic training scheme, last year on its own interactive safety training initiative. The “Step Forward for Safety” project used the core message that everyone is a leader when it comes to safety and was designed to provoke thought and give new insight into how each individual can act as a safety leader.
