The firm will carry out vibrocompaction of land ahead of a major expansion of the huge transport hub.

Work on the S$56M deal is due to start on site this month, with completion in summer 2016.

Keller chief executive Justin Atkinson said: “This contract award reflects both the group’s excellent track record using vibrocompaction in Singapore and extensive experience in similar airport construction projects around the world.”

Terminal 1 at Changi Airport will be expanded alongside creation of a mixed-use complex featuring attractions, shops, a hotel and operations facilities.
