Lagan invests in second Soilmec

lagan sr 95

Lagan Constructions Group’s plant division has announced that it has taken delivery of a second Soilmec SR 95 dual purpose rotary bored piling rig.

The £1.2M rig has been deployed by Lagan’s piling business FK Lowry Piling for work on the A6 Randalstown to Toome dualling scheme in Antrim, Northern Ireland.

According to FK Lowry director Nial McGill, the acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to have the most modern fleet of dual purpose piling rigs in the UK and brings the investment so far this year up to £6M.
