Transport for London (TfL) has released a call for tenders for a £350M civils and tunnelling framework agreement to support London Underground’s capacity enhancement programme.
The documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEC) states that TfL is looking for six partners to undertake work over an eight year period.
The work has been split into three lots – civils with limited tunnelling works; tunnelling with associated tunnel lining and preparation for next stage activities with either limited civils or minor civils works; and a combination of the lots one and two.
The value of the work for each lot has not been defined but the work available may be greater than £350M as the documents states that the framework may also be used outside of the capacity enhancement programme to provide services for London Underground’s asset development programme; construction portfolio; and renewals portfolio.
Tender applications for the framework must be submitted by 10 December.
