Mark Creighton joins CGL to launch London office

Specialist geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy CGL has announced that it has recruited Mark Creighton to head up its new London office.

Creighton joins the business from contractor Galliford Try, where he held the role of chief engineer.

According to CGL, Creighton will initially focus on combining his expertise in expertise in temporary works design with CGL’s approach to geotechnical analysis but the office will offer the full range of CGL’s geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigation, design and validation services to London-based clients.

“CGL’s launch of a London office is a realisation of a long-held ambition to have a presence right in the centre of the capital,” said CGL chairman Nick Langdon “With Mark’s background being grounded in the practical realities of construction complementing CGL’s analytical capability, we have the capability to offer something that is almost unique within our sector.”
