A Nicholson Construction and Treviicos JV is to stabilise the shoreline for Charlestown Bus Facility in Massachusetts, US.

The contract for the Charlestown Bus Facility, located along the Mystic River, includes jet grouting a total of 1,220 1.21m to 2.13m diameter by 6m to 10.6m deep columns to support a new shoreline embankment.

Nicholson Construction vice president for major projects Luca Barison said: “These are the kinds of challenging projects that we, as a company, look forward to. We’ve had several successful projects with Treviicos and we’re looking forward to another one.”

The overall project, valued at US$31.7M (£24.8M), will be completed by the summer of 2019.
