Norway seeks landslide risk support

Norway’s water resources and energy directorate Norges Vassdrags-og Energidirektorat (NVE) is looking for technical support for its landslide and avalanche risk mapping work.

Tender documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union show that NVE is looking for a 12 month partnership to start in late January next year.

NVE is required by the Norwegian government to undertake landslide hazard mapping for the risk of avalanches, slush avalanches, rock falls, rock slides, landslides and debris flows.

Some work is undertaken in house but the areas that are outsourced are the subject of the current tender process. Potential partners must submit their bids by 15 January 2018.
