Aéroports de Paris has opened the pre-qualification process for a five year ground investigation and geotechnical consultancy framework deal.

According to the tender documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union, the airport group plans to invite eight tenders to bid for the work across Paris’ three main airports at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly and Paris-Le Bourget, as well as other smaller aerodromes in the region.

The work is expected to involve planning and implementation of ground investigation work for geotechnical, hydrogeological and contaminated land purposes.

Aéroports de Paris has said that the work must be delivered to standard NF P 94-500 with the geotechnical studies being carried out in coherence with the French normative system and the Eurocodes, while the contaminated land element of the work must be delivered to standard NF X 31-620.

Potential bidders must register their interest in the work by 3 December.
