PDI adds drill shaft load analyser

Pile Dynamics (PDI) has introduced a new version of its Pile Dynamic Analyser for drilled shafts.

The PDA-DLT assesses bearing capacity and structural integrity, and makes drilled shaft testing easier with the option of conducting the test with four or more wireless strain transducers.

The system acquires data from accelerometers and strain transducers attached to the shaft following impact from a suitable drop weight and allows bearing capacity, structural integrity and foundation stresses to be evaluated.

The system can also be used to collect data for rapid load testing.

Preliminary field tests can be further analyses with PDI’s Capwap software that gives results that correlate to static load testing.
