Cape drove the pile in 15 minutes

Cape used its vibro lifting tool to drive a 330t, 6.5m diameter monopile to a penetration depth of 24m in 15 minutes and to a verticality of 0.05°.

The company has said that the time saving was delivered through driving the pile without other tools, gripper or installation frame and the ability of the vibro lifting tool to pick and place the pile.
