Portsmouth City Council is inviting expression of interest in a major port upgrade project, which is estimated to be worth up to £4M.
According to the documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union, the contract is expected to be awarded in late June this year and the work must be completed by 1 May 2020.
Bidders will be asked to design and construct a quay wall 2.5m lower that the existing level at Berth 2 in Portsmouth International Port and provide options to lengthen the quay.
The council has said that it expects to invite tenders from three to four shortlisted contractors.
Expressions of interest must be submitted by 11 March.
