RSK has announced that it has acquired pile testing business Non Destructive Testing Services (NDT Services) and consulting civil and structural engineers Copeland Wedge Associates (CWA).
“I am delighted to join forces with NDT Services and CWA,” said RSK CEO Alan Ryder.
“[Through NDT] RSK can now offer pile testing to complement our existing geotechnical and structural engineering expertise. And CWA will bring us better access to the Birmingham/West Midlands market and further enhance our engineering teams.”
Both businesses, including NDT Services’ 20 staff members and CWA’s 39, will join RSK’s geosciences and engineering division headed by divisional director George Tuckwell.
The acquisitions are the latest in a series of buy outs by the business supported by Permira Debt Managers’ £140M funding package agreed in 2017. Other geotechnical-related acquisitions have included Central Alliance Pre Construction Services, CJ Associates and Ian Farmer Associates, as well as Up and Under Group, Cole Jarman and the merger with RSKW.
