According to RSK, its geotechnically focused rail business is growing year on year and Calder will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, as well as helping structure RSK’s internal divisions to maximise return.
Calder joins RSK from Aspin where he played a key role in securing frameworks and project wins for and throughout CP5.
RSK Group geosciences and engineering business divisional director George Tuckwell said: “Rail is an increasingly important sector for RSK Group and its companies and the appointment Adrian, with his vast experience of the sector, will not only help us generate rail business but also help us understand and structure our proposition to provide rail clients with the service they demand.”
Calder added: “The rail sector presents a huge opportunity to continue the excellent growth pattern that RSK Group has seen over the past few years, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.”
