The closing date for submitting entries for the Ground Engineering Awards is fast approaching and potential award-winners are urged to start the entry process soon.
The deadline to put forward entries for the 2019 event is 11 January, which is now just six weeks away.
With no fee to enter the awards, GE editor Claire Smith urged the industry to consider entering multiple categories. “We have some new awards up for grabs in 2019, including Geotechnical Supplier of the Year and the Community Engagement Award,” said Smith. “Many companies submitting an entry in the project category probably have a great community engagement story to tell about the scheme too, so it is always worth looking at how you can present the same work in different ways to give yourself the best potential to make it onto the shortlist.”
Full details about all of the categories, the criteria and how to submit an entry can be found on the event website at https://awards.geplus.co.uk/
The shortlist will be announced in February and successful candidates will be invited to present their entry to the judging panel during a live judging event which will take place in London from 1 to 5 April. The winners will be revealed at a gala evening event at the London Hilton on Park Lane on 5 June.
