Earth Science Partnership, WYG, Quantum Geotechnical and Socotec UK have all been awarded places on a South West Wales ground investigation framework.

The three-year framework will provide ground investigation across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Neath Port Talbot, Swansea and Ceredigion.

Six firms tendered for the contract which was a joint procurement by five local authorities; Carmarthenshire County Council, Pembrokeshire County Council, City and County of Swansea, Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.

Earth Science Partnership, WYG, Quantum Geotechnical and Socotec all have offices in Wales.

Socotec operations manager in Wales and South West Daniel Mallett said: “Being appointed to the framework means we can deliver ground investigation services to an alliance of councils in South West Wales.

”Our extensive in-house resource and ground investigation experiences means we have the capability to deliver timely and efficient ground investigation services to meet the local councils’ requirements.”
