Significant growth in orders in hand are claimed as the main drivers behind the 4.2% growth in Bauer’s first half results for 2015, compared to the same period last year.
Revenues for the first six months are reported to be €780M (£549M) on the back of a 13.9% rise in orders to €881.5M (£620M).
Bauer chairman of the management board Thomas Bauer said that he believes the business is in a positive trend. He added that the recently won €100M (£70.4M) remediation contract in Germany, which is Bauer’s largest ever contract, will further support the trend.
Based on the first half results, Bauer has confirmed its full year forecast of revenues of €1.6bn (£1.13bn) and EBIT of €75M (£52.8M).
