Survey looks at digital data challenge in geotechnics

Ground Engineering has joined forces with Dyson Innovation Award winner Vibro Ultra to undertake some research into the challenges facing the geotechnical market in the UK.

Part of the research involves an anonymous survey that is open to anyone who is involved with the use of digital data.

The survey aims to look at the issues presented by greater use of digital data and increased use of BIM and finite element analysis and the barriers that prevent greater or more efficient use of digital data.

The overall results of the survey, along with interviews with industry leaders on the topic, will be presented in a feature in GE later this year.
