Documents for the geotechnical services for a third metro line have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEC).
The Toulouse Aerospace Express, a 27km long line with 20 stations, was unveiled back in 2015 and will connect the Colomiers railway station near the Toulouse-Blagnac Airport on the west through the city centre before ending at Labège in the southeastern suburb of Toulouse.
Tender documents reveal the planned work has been divided over five lots; ground investigation work; test drilling and boring work; geotechnical engineering services; ground investigation services; and geology services.
Work will include core drilling, pressuremeter soundings, shovel surveys, and the associated soil laboratory tests.
The framework contract is for two years and costs are not expected to exceed €4.8M (£4.29M).
Tenderers must submit their documents by 26 December 2017.
