Foundations specialist has announced that it has secured over £55M of new contracts in the US, Middle East and West Africa.
Trevi’s US division Treviicos has been appointed has been appointed to undertake the foundation work for the Northeast Boundary Tunnel in Washington, DC. The 8.2km long sewage tunnel will be built by Salini Impregilo and S A Healy in joint venture and Trevi’s subsidiary will carry out shaft construction and ground improvement work for the scheme.
In Kuwait Trevi has secured a deal to construct foundations for silos planned at the liquefied natural gas storage site, while in Dubai the company has been appointed to deliver foundations for the world’s longest indoor ski slope (pictured) at New One Mall Meydan.
The company’s new contract in Nigeria will see it construct foundations for new silos and commercial building at Port Harcourt.
Trevi Group CEO Stefano Trevisani said: “Foreign markets continue to create opportunities for our business but the same cannot be said of our home market in Italy where stalemate remains.”
