Bachy Soletanche has announced that its anchor, grouting and minipiling business AGM achieved a turnover of £20M last year – the division’s highest to date.
Bachy also announced that the business has been renamed Specialist Geotechnics to better reflect the scheme undertaken by the company and to give it better market visibility.
“The past 18 months have seen significant growth in the division’s turnover, and we are determined to build on this success moving forward into 2014 and beyond,” said Specialist Geotechnics general manager Mark Edwards. “The rebranding is a part of our business strategy to promote closer links with our clients and their consultants so we can deliver technical excellence safely, on time and to budget.”
Bachy Soletanche managing director Chris Merridew warned that although there are a number of major opportunities on the horizon and quality of enquiries is improving, the current state of the market is still very challenging. He added that the performance of Specialist Geotechnics has been very promising and he expected this to continue going forward.
