By J B Boden, M J Irwin and R G Pocock, TRRL

Synopsis

The objectives which guided the framing of the research progranxne on reinforced earth retaining walls at the Transport and Road Research Laboratory are reviewed, and the development of the work through a progression of increasing scale and soil complexity is discussed.
