Synopsis

In part 1 of this paper case studies of the site investigations for five tunnel projects were reviewed and were related to the design and construction phases of the work”. In this concluding part of the Paper some of the principles of good site investigation practice for tunnels are discussed and illustrated with the aid of the case studies.
